Despite 3 heavy showers and strong winds the show went on, cementing the fact that the CSC leads in all matters serama. The 3 shows in one, Classical , Ornamental, Novelty plus a side Youth Show, was put to the test and proved workable. No more of the boring chicken wakes where an exhibitor has to pay $5 to enter a bird only to have the exhibitor judges in stead of the entry. It’s a known fact that management of most shows have exhibitors write their names on the score card, which the judges sees and judges the exhibitor instead of the entry, thereby giving that exhibitor an advantage over other entries. None of these shenanigans at CSC show, exhibitors are assigned a number which appears on the card and only the tabulators have the advantage of knowing which bird belongs to based on the band number. Also, while most shows have 3 judges, each judge judges after the other, thereby prolong the wake to unreasonable hours, CSC shows have all 3 judges. judge at the same time, thereby reducing show time to only a third of the time, allowing everyone to meet fellow exhibitors and share stories of present and past events. Lastly we provide free food and drink and provide a DJ who entertains the crowd throughout show time, a raffle table provides a source of revenue by raffling items donated by exhibitors and guest, Don't forget the clean up fee charged by most fir the privilege of showing your bird, None of this at CSC events, we have dedicated members who do cleanup for free. There you. have it folks, Just a few examples of things which sets the CSC apart from other groups, we lead, others follow .
