A clip of Colette, Cecile & Camille will be posted here shortly.

Our master, Jerry Schexnayder of Louisiana — founder of the Serama Council of North America, the Cajun Serama Council of Louisiana, Inc., and Jerry’s Seramas LLC — has donated these three hens to the CSC as a fundraiser for the 25th Anniversary Serama Bash on Saturday, October 3rd in Vacherie, Louisiana.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward putting on the Bash and supporting the shows the Council holds. Thank you for backing the breed.

  1. The prize. Three 8-month-old Extreme Cajun/Malay Serama hens — Colette, Cecile and Camille — donated by Jerry Schexnayder. The three hens are awarded together as a single prize to one winner.
  2. Slots. There are 200 numbered slots. Each slot is one entry. You may buy as many as you like, up to 25 in a single order.
  3. Price. $10 per slot, with bulk pricing at 3 for $25, 6 for $50, and 13 for $100. The best combination is applied to your order automatically.
  4. Holding your numbers. Selected slots are reserved for 30 minutes while you complete checkout. If payment isn’t completed, they return to the board for someone else.
  5. The draw. The winning slot will be drawn at the 25th Anniversary Serama Bash on Saturday, October 3rd in Vacherie, Louisiana. The winning number will be posted on this page.
  6. If the board doesn’t fill. The draw goes ahead on the scheduled date whether or not all 200 slots are sold. Only sold slots are eligible to win.
  7. Claiming the birds. The winner will be contacted using the email address from their payment. Transport or shipping is arranged between the winner and the Council; any shipping costs are the winner’s responsibility.
  8. Entries are final. Because this is a fundraiser, entries are non-refundable except where a slot cannot be fulfilled, in which case that portion is refunded in full.
  9. Eligibility. Entrants must be 18 or older. Please check your own state and local rules on receiving live poultry before entering.
